Strategic partnership between Flowmaster Group and P+Z
Flowmaster Group and P+Z Engineering have signed a strategic partnership agreement to develop and market integrated solutions for the modelling and simulation of Thermo Fluid System Simulation Software. The integrated solutions will leverage P+Z's expertise in the area of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning for the Automotive, Aerospace and Transportation industries and will enable both parties to explore new and exciting opportunities.

German Elite University ordered THESEUS-FE
The Universität Karlsruhe (TH) which is one of the three elected German elite universities ordered three permanent THESEUS-FE licenses for their institute of Building Physics and Building Services managed by Professor Wagner.
Cooperation with University of Brno
The new "Academic Licensing Program" of THESEUS-FE yields fruit. The Brno University of Technology signed a diploma thesis agreement. The thesis titled "Ventilation and Air Conditioning of a Car Cabin" will be carried out at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering supervised by Professor Jicha.

New version 2.1 is coming
P+Z announces an update release of THESEUS-FE for October. The new key feature is a dramatic speed up of the view factor calculation up to a factor of 100! This will be reached by introducing high-tech kd-tree data structure technologies into the ray tracing code. This method also effects the sun shading and contact search algorithms, so that an additional speed increase is expected for such solving problems too.

THESEUS-FE expands to Asia
Three years after successfully placing THESEUS-FE to Korea, P+Z took the strategic decision to capture other upcoming Asian markets too. Currently P+Z win Beijing FEAonline Engineering Co.,Ltd over THESEUS-FE as an agent for China, which will start selling THESEUS-FE in the very next month after an intensive introduction to THESEUS-FE by P+Z. FEAonline is a well-known FEA consulting and service company in China located in Beijing, Shanghai and XiAn. Dr. Thomas Schneider, Head of P+Z's Computational Engineering Department commented: "We are delighted to work with such a high qualified partner in China. Due to FEAonline's complementary CAE product portfolio, their excellent customer references in different industries and their own Training & Technical Centers spreaded over China, we are looking forward to a long-termed and successful cooperation". Moreover the executive board of P+Z already annonced that the search for a distributership in Japan will follow next.
Academic Licensing Program
Due to several requests from Universities all over the world, P+Z passes a new "Academic Licensing Program" for THESEUS-FE with version 2. Now research departments, academic institutes and graduate students benefit from this settlement. For example a permanent, campus-wide, unlimited and network-compatible THESEUS-FE license is available for one-fifth of the price of one single-user license. As a first reaction the famous Shanghai Jiao Tong University participate the academic program. Don't wait - ask for your special offer!

Cooperation with Modelon AB
Modelon and P+Z signed cooperation agreement about improving complex services in the field of vehicle climate control for customers of THESEUS-FE and Dymola AC Library. So, AC-systems and vehicle cabins grow together more and more in virtuality.
ACCC-Workshop
CeBeNetwork GmBH and P+Z will arrange the first Workshop on Aerospace Cabin Climate & Comfort specially for the aviation industry. Clients and interested customers are invited to participate this one day meeting for free! It will take place at 8th November 2007 in Bremen.

New Team Member
After finishing his diploma thesis titled "Verfahren zur Berechnung der Viewfaktoren für Strahlungsprobleme" at P+Z Michael Fleischmann decided for joining the THESEUS-FE team. Michael studied Technomathematik at the Technical University of Munich and is an employee of P+Z since June now. His first actions has been the implementation of the new ray tracing technology into THESEUS-FE v2.1. In the future he will be involved in further development and support tasks of THESEUS-FE. We wish him a very warm welcome to our team.
